Release of Greening the Blue 2022 Report
On 14 December 2022 the United Nations’ system launched its latest environmental sustainability report: Greening the Blue Report 2022. This edition of the Report reveals UN entities are accelerating their efforts on environmental governance and environmental training.
Greening the Blue is a UNEP initiative to engage and support the UN System in the transition towards greater environmental sustainability in the management of its facilities and operations.
In alignment with the Strategy for Sustainability Management in the United Nations 2020-2030, Phase I: Environmental Sustainability in the Area of Management, the Greening the Blue Report 2022 provides UN system-wide and entity-level data for 2021 on environmental impact areas: greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, climate neutrality, waste, air pollution, water and wastewater, and biodiversity. As well as management functions: environmental governance, procurement, and human resources.

Notice to Importers of Refrigerant gases and Ozone Depleting Substances
Pursuant to Trade (Restrictions on Import of Ozone Depleting Substances) Order No. 19 of 2007 and Amendment No. 6 of 2010.
Importers of Refrigeration gases are being asked/reminded to register with the National Ozone Action Unit (NOAU) of the Hydrometeorological Service, Ministry of Agriculture and apply for permits to import their annual quotas of controlled Hydrocholoroflourocarbons (HCFCs), R22, R141b and Methyl Bromide.
