Approximately 63 children and adults along the East Bank of Berbice benefitted from an environmental public awareness outreach in East Berbice, Region Six. The outreach was conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency in collaboration with the National Ozone Action Unit on August 14, 2019. Students were happy to be part of the experience and for the opportunity provided through the educational outreach. The children were taught on reducing plastic pollution and ozone layer protection.
